Hi guys, this is the third wetsuit shampoo / cleaner review I’ve done so far. Today is the ‘O’Neill Wetsuit Cleaner and Conditioner Review’.
I’ll be taking you guys through the pro’s and con’s of the product and then finishing with whether I think it’s worth the money as a wetsuit cleaner and conditioner.
Obviously these are just my views on the product but I’m hoping this review will help those looking for a wetsuit shampoo / cleaner.

Good Things About The Product
So, let’s start with the good things about O’Neill’s wetsuit cleaner and conditioner…
- It’s the cheapest wetsuit cleaner / shampoo that I’ve bought so far for the size (250ml).
- It cleans the wetsuit really well.
- The instructions on the back are really easy to follow for any first time user.
- Looks like it will last the longest out of the three wetsuit cleaners / shampoo’s I’ve used.
Not So Good Things About The Product
- There is no smell factor to the cleaner when washing the wetsuit or when the wetsuit is drying.
- This might be specific to my bottle but the top cracked and started leaking and the bottle in general seems to leak around the cap.
Would I Recommend This Product?
So, the main question… would I recommend O’Neill’s wetsuit cleaner and conditioner to you guys as a wetsuit cleaner? Yes I would, absolutely.
O’Neill’s wetsuit cleaner and conditioner did a great job of not only cleaning the wetsuit but doing it at the best value. The 250ml bottle was the cheapest wetsuit shampoo out of the three I’ve bought and tested and looks like it will last the longest lasting due to its consistency.
I would recommend this as a solid choice for anyone who wants a cheap consistent wetsuit cleaner that will last more than four uses. Check out this product yourself on Amazon – HERE.
Similar Wetsuit Shampoo Alternatives
So what else is there out there in the wetsuit cleaner market that you guys can try out? There are two other shampoo’s that I’ve used and have review that I think offer different advantages…
Rip Curl Piss Off Wetsuit Cleaner
At a more expensive price per bottle than O’Neill’s Wetsuit cleaner and conditioner product, Rip Curl have their own wetsuit cleaner called ‘Piss Off’. This is another wetsuit cleaner that I would recommend for its wetsuit protection qualities.
Coco Loco Wetsuit Cleaner
The second wetsuit cleaning product I can recommend is Dirtbusters Coco Loco Wetsuit Cleaner and Deodoriser. This is a great wetsuit cleaner if your main aim is to remove unpleasant smells from your wetsuit.
SummaryWell guys I hope this ‘O’Neill Wetsuit Cleaner and Conditioner Review’ has been helpful. If you’re still looking for a wetsuit shampoo I have done two other reviews on Rip Curl’s Piss Off and Coco Loco’s Wetsuit Cleaner. Let me know in the comments if theres any other wetsuit shampoo’s you’ve tried, I’d love to give them a go too! Feel free to check out my other social media channels and let me know what you think!
